Chrissy Metz talks awkward online dating experience

Chrissy Metz has opened up about an awkward experience she had while trying out online dating.
The This Is Us actress made an appearance on Busy Tonight on Wednesday night (05Dec18), where she spoke about her love life. Chrissy explained that she had never been “ghosted” or rejected without any warning by a man, but did recall a time in which she actively avoided meeting up with a date.
“I have not been ghosted, however, there was a gentleman years ago, when it was like not even cool to talk about that you met online. Like, you don’t mention it. And I didn’t… I didn’t, until now,” she explained. “And this guy and I agreed to meet, and I think we exchanged one or two pictures. And we’re like, ‘O.K. we’ll meet at this bar, at this time.’ And so literally I park my car, and I’m walking, he’s walking, we see each other and we’re like… neeee (and veer off). We didn’t need to waste time, you know, we already figured it out. We knew. Energetically it was not right for me.”
Chrissy went on to comment that she did continue to use online dating websites for a period, but confirmed that she now has a boyfriend, having recently been rumoured to be in a relationship with composer Hal Rosenfeld.
“No more of the online dating,” the 38-year-old smiled.
