Luann de Lesseps rejects plea deal

Reality TV star Luann De Lesseps has rejected a plea deal in her disorderly intoxication case.
The Real Housewives of New York City star was arrested by police in Palm Beach, Florida, on Christmas Eve (24Dec17), and accused of disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest, and battery on a law enforcement officer after she was discovered trespassing in a hotel room with an unidentified man, according to a police report.
The pair had entered the wrong room at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach and they refused to leave. De Lesseps also reportedly “shoved” a police officer who responded to the scene and “slammed” the bathroom door on his forehead.
She was officially charged with a felony count of resisting an officer with violence, trespassing, and disorderly intoxication in January (18) and now faces up to five years in prison.
Luann was presented with a plea offer on Wednesday (14Feb18), but, according to TMZ, her lawyers rejected it. It is unclear what the terms of the plea deal were.
