Buffy the Vampire Slayer remains one of the most iconic teen dramas of all time. Throughout the seven year run of the series, many stars were able to use the show as the launching point for their career. Bianca Lawson - Kendra the Vampire Slayer

Bianca Lawson has been playing a teenager on the big and small screens for the last 20 years! She went on to star in
Save the Last Dance and has had recurring roles on numerous television shows including
Dawson's Creek. Most recently, she has has major roles on
Pretty Little Liars,
The Vampire Diaries and
Teen Wolf . The 37-year-old currently stars in the
DirecTV drama series
Rouge and is now set to appear on the new
Ava DuVernay/Oprah Winfrey series
Queen Sugar. Lawson is also the step-sister of mega star
Beyoncé, so she's pretty much iconic.
Carmine Giovinazzo - First Person Ever Killed On Buffy

Carmine Giovinazzo from his starring roles on
CSI: New York and
Graceland you probably didn't know that way back in '97, Giovinazzo had the distinguished honor of being the first person ever killed on
Buffy. That's right, Giovinazzo's character was sucked dry during the first five minutes of the pilot episode by the vampire, Darla. After
Buffy, the actor and guitarist starred on several different shows until he scooped up the role of Dani Messor on
CSI: NY.
Ashanti - Lissa

Buffy as Lissa, a girl who goes out on a date with Xander only to reveal that she is a demon. Post

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and has teamed up with FLOTUS
Michelle Obama for her

Buffy. Kyle along with Xander and some other Sunnydale High students got possessed by the spirit of demonic hyenas, and gobbled up Principal Flutie. Yes
Buffy kept it 100. After his bought of cannibalism, Bailey went on to star in
Almost Famous, Covert Affairs and
HBO's Band of Brothers before snagging his role on
OUAT.

Buffy, the Emmy winning actress starred as creepy Nurse Greenleigh. Afterwards, she went on to star in all twelve seasons of the
CBS hit
Two and a Half Men. She also voiced the character of Bob's Mom in 2012's
Frankenweenie.

RIP John Ritter - Ted

John Ritter had a huge career with roles in classic television shows like
Three's Company and
The Love Boat long before he starred as Buffy's mom's evil robot boyfriend Ted. Post,
Buffy Ritter went on to star in
8 Simple Rules. He also voiced Clifford the Big Red Dog. Sadly, Ritter passed away September 11, 2003. He suffered a tear in his aorta.
